Officials from President’s Secretariat Visit Bapu Tower in Patna

Patna: Officials from the President’s Secretariat visited Bapu Tower in Gardanibagh, Patna, to explore exhibits related to Mahatma Gandhi’s life and the state government’s initiatives inspired by his ideals. The delegation included Deputy Director Pankaj Protim Bardoloi, Education Officer Shubha Banerjee, Technical Director (NIC), and others. They observed paintings, murals, audio-visuals, short films, and various displays housed in different galleries of the tower.

Director of Bapu Tower, Vinay Kumar, provided insights into the structure, including its ramp and gallery layout, while Executive Engineer Gautam Kumar explained its technical aspects. The visitors were particularly impressed by the Champaran Gallery and the exhibits portraying Mahatma Gandhi’s influence on Bihar’s policies and programs. They described the living museum as a remarkable tribute to Gandhi’s legacy.

The officials praised the uniqueness and artistic brilliance of Bapu Tower, calling it a world-class heritage site. They admired the attention to detail in its design and the way it preserves historical memories through interactive and visually compelling displays.

The visit concluded with appreciation for the efforts behind the museum’s creation and its role in educating future generations. Deputy Director Lalit Kumar Singh, Special Officer Neelima Sahu, and other officials were also present during the visit.
