Online Ticketing Service for Rajgir Ropeway Launched on World Tourism Day

Rajgir: On the occasion of World Tourism Day, the Bihar State Tourism Development Corporation Limited launched the online ticketing service for Rajgir Ropeway at Sikh Heritage, Patna. Alongside this, a teaser for Bihar Tourism was unveiled by Tourism Minister Nitish Mishra. The event also included a discussion on Bihar’s Tourism Policy 2024 and the future trajectory of the tourism industry in the state.

During his address, Nitish Mishra highlighted the ongoing development of modern tourist facilities and infrastructure in Bihar, which has attracted visitors from across the globe. He emphasized that inviting friends and acquaintances to visit Bihar would help dispel misconceptions about the state and enhance its image as a tourist destination.

Tourism Secretary Lokesh Kumar Singh reiterated the state’s commitment to expanding tourism facilities and directed the Managing Director of Bihar State Tourism Development Corporation to collaborate with the Forest Department to integrate the online ticket system for the Rajgir Ropeway with the Zoo and Nature Safari ticketing system.

Managing Director Nand Kishore announced that tickets for the Rajgir Ropeway can now be booked online via https://bstdc.bihar.gov.in/ropewayrajgir/. Representatives from Hotel Taj, the Bihar Industries Association, and other stakeholders in the tourism industry also shared their insights during the event.

Additionally, several employees of the Bihar State Tourism Development Corporation, including Munwa Devi, Maya Devi, Ramvilas Paswan, and others, were honored for their outstanding work. The event concluded with a vote of thanks from General Manager Abhijeet Kumar.
