Patna: An oxygen cylinder explosion at a hospital on Bhootnath Road in Patna claimed the life of one laborer and left another seriously injured on Friday evening. The incident occurred in the Agamkuan police station area, sparking panic in the vicinity.

Local police from Agamkuan station quickly arrived at the scene after being alerted. The injured worker was rushed to Nalanda Medical College Hospital (NMCH), where he is currently undergoing treatment. Authorities are working to identify both victims, according to the station in-charge.

Explosion During Unloading

Preliminary investigations suggest the blast occurred while oxygen cylinders were being unloaded from a vehicle. The explosion was so powerful that one laborer died instantly, causing chaos in the area.
