Patna Airport Releases New Schedule: Air India Express Launches 5 Flights to Bhubaneswar, Hyderabad, Bengaluru; Direct Flight to Guwahati Added

Patna: Patna is set to see an expansion in its air connectivity as Air India Express makes its debut in the city’s aviation market. Starting January 15, the airline will operate two flights each to Hyderabad and Bengaluru, and one flight to Bhubaneswar. Additionally, SpiceJet has introduced a new direct flight to Guwahati, enhancing Patna’s connectivity to the northeast.

Previously, there were no direct flights from Patna to Guwahati or Bhubaneswar. This development is expected to improve travel convenience for passengers from Bihar.

New Flight Schedule

The Patna airport administration has released a revised schedule featuring 39 pairs of aircraft, up from 33 in the earlier schedule. There are no changes in the timings of the existing flights.

From January 15, Air India Express’s flight from Bengaluru will be the first arrival of the day at Patna airport, scheduled to land at 9 am and depart at 9.35 am. This will replace the current first flight operated by Air India to Delhi, which arrives at 10 am. The last departure of the day will also be an Air India Express flight to Hyderabad at 11 pm.
