Patna Airport Winter Schedule: Reduced Flights Amid Fog Disruptions

Patna: IndiGo and SpiceJet have suspended 10 pairs of morning and night flights from Patna airport until December 31 due to fog, impacting air travel to key destinations. The airport administration has released a revised winter schedule, reducing the number of daily flights to 35 pairs, with further cuts planned from December 16, bringing the total to 31 pairs.

Notably, there will be no direct flights from Patna to Guwahati throughout this period. Direct flights to Bhubaneswar will cease operations from December 15, while IndiGo’s morning service to Kolkata and night service to Bengaluru, along with SpiceJet’s afternoon flight to Delhi, will also be discontinued on the same date. Additionally, flights to Jaipur and Goa, included in the October schedule, are absent in the latest update as they are no longer operational.

IndiGo will introduce a temporary direct flight to Chandigarh from December 16 to 31. According to the revised schedule, the first flight at Patna airport will arrive from Chandigarh at 9:10 am and depart for Bhubaneswar at 9:45 am, but this route will only operate until December 14. The last flight of the day, an IndiGo service to Bengaluru, will depart at 11:25 pm.

The revised flight timings remain consistent with the earlier schedule, spanning from 9:10 am to 10:45 pm. Travelers are advised to check updated schedules before planning their journeys, as weather-related disruptions may continue to affect operations.
