Patna Doctor Shot Six Times in Brutal Murder Inside Hospital Chamber, Medical Community Outraged

Patna: A wave of shock and outrage has swept through Patna following the brutal murder of Dr. Surabhi Raj, director of Asia Hospital, who was shot six times inside her chamber. The attack took place near Dhanki Mor in the Agamkuan area, leaving the medical community in shock.

According to police reports, unidentified assailants entered Dr. Raj’s office and fired multiple rounds at her. Officers recovered six bullet casings from the scene. She was rushed to a hospital but succumbed to her injuries during treatment.

“At 3:30 pm, Agamkuan police station received information that the director of Asia Hospital had been shot,” said CDPO Atulesh Jha. “When officers arrived, they were informed that staff members had discovered Dr. Raj unconscious and covered in blood in her office. She was immediately admitted to the ICU, where multiple gunshot wounds were confirmed. She was later transferred to AIIMS, where she was pronounced dead in the evening. The investigation is underway from all angles.”

Senior police officials have reached the crime scene, and an inquiry is ongoing to determine the motive behind the attack.
