Patna Municipal Commissioner Calls for Greenery at Bairia Dumping Yard

Patna: Patna Municipal Commissioner Animesh Kumar Parashar, along with senior officials, conducted an inspection of the Ramchak Bairia dumping yard, where waste management practices were found to be satisfactory.

During the visit, the commissioner emphasised the need for increased greenery at the site to enhance its appearance. He reviewed key infrastructure, including the platform surrounding the weighing bridge, approach cement concrete roads (Part A and Part B), the installation of two fire (water) hydrants, as well as the construction of a shed and an animal crematorium.

Officials were instructed to ensure the continuous processing of waste materials in accordance with regulations. The commissioner also directed the Executive Engineer for Electricity to install high-mast lights to improve visibility at the site. Additionally, arrangements were ordered for a water-spraying machine to be used regularly via sprinklers to manage dust and maintain cleanliness.

The inspection team included Additional Municipal Commissioner Rajan Sinha, the Executive Engineer, City Manager, and other municipal employees.
