Patna Women’s College celebrates Ozone Day with environmental activities
Patna: The Department of Geography at Patna Women’s College, in collaboration with the SRISHTI Environment Club, marked Ozone Day with a series of environmentally focused activities aimed at raising awareness of ozone layer protection.
Undergraduate and postgraduate students from the department participated enthusiastically, contributing to the beautification of the college’s terrace garden. Students creatively decorated pots with innovative designs, adding a vibrant touch to the garden. The event was attended by Dr. Amrita Choudhury, head of the Department of Geography, along with other faculty members, who encouraged students to engage in conservation initiatives.
The event served as a reminder of the critical need to protect the ozone layer and underscored the importance of adopting sustainable practices. Through hands-on activities, students were encouraged to become active participants in environmental preservation efforts.
