Patna Women’s College Hosts Financial Awareness Programme on Digital Finance for Gen Z

Patna: Patna Women’s College, in collaboration with its Commerce and Management Club and the Department of Commerce, organised a Financial Awareness Programme on Monday, focusing on financial literacy in the digital era. The event aimed to equip students, particularly from Generation Z, with knowledge about digital finance and investment decision-making.

Dr. CS Reena Kumari, PhD, from IIM Ranchi and an assistant professor at BML Munjal University, Gurgaon, was the resource person for the session. She provided insights into the evolving landscape of digital finance, highlighting the key financial choices young investors face today. Her interactive approach, backed by real-world examples, enhanced the learning experience for students.

The event was attended by Dr. Soofia Fatima, dean of the Faculty of Commerce and Management and head of the Department of Commerce, along with CS Shweta Shah, coordinator of the Commerce Profession. It was coordinated by Gautam Saurabh, coordinator of Kaizen, the Commerce and Management Club, and an assistant professor in the Department of Commerce, along with Yosha Singh, co-coordinator of Kaizen and an assistant professor in the Department of Advertising and Marketing Management. Faculty members, including Sagarika Upadhyay, Mona, Neha Kumari, Sohini, and Puja Kumari, also attended.

The session was moderated by Sania Ambreen, vice president of the Commerce and Management Club (AMM, Semester VI), while the vote of thanks was delivered by Nadia Nadeem, treasurer of the club (BBA, Semester VI).
