Patna : Patna’s Mauryalok complex is poised for a major transformation as two additional floors have been added to its central tower, bringing new amenities aimed at young visitors and families alike. The revamped Maurya Tower will soon house a high-tech gaming zone, gym, yoga centre, multiplex cinema and a food court, all scheduled to open to the public from next month.
The extension, which raises the tower to seven storeys, is in its final stages. While structural work has been completed, finishing touches including painting and interior decoration are currently under way and are expected to conclude by the end of April.
A major highlight of the upgrade is a 10,000 sq ft gaming zone on the sixth floor. The facility promises a wide range of attractions including virtual reality games, a mega screen, digital simulators and ride-based experiences. The space is being pitched as a major draw for children and young adults in the city.
On the top floor, a three-screen multiplex is nearing completion. Each screen will accommodate between 50 and 60 viewers, with work on interiors progressing rapidly. Sharing the floor will be a large food court, offering a variety of cuisines to complement the entertainment options.
