People Experience Bihar’s Major Landmarks through VR in 3D at Bihar Diwas Celebration in Patna

Patna: The grand Bihar Diwas celebrations at Gandhi Maidan are offering a unique experience to visitors with 3D virtual tours of the state’s major historical and popular places. The Department of Information and Public Relations has set up a pavilion where people can explore Bihar’s iconic sites using virtual reality (VR) equipment. On the first day, around 400 people took the virtual tour, while on the second day, nearly 500 visitors enjoyed the immersive experience. The pavilion remained crowded throughout the day, with people eagerly waiting in line for their turn.

The VR setup allows visitors to witness important landmarks such as Bapu Tower in Patna, Sabhyata Dwar, Patna Sahib Gurudwara, Rajgir’s Glass Bridge, Ghoda Katora, the recently built arena and park of Jarasandh, Pawapuri’s Jal Mandir, and other renowned places. The equipment is arranged in a way that people can enjoy the experience while sitting or standing on a sofa.

Spread across more than 1 lakh square feet in the historical Gandhi Maidan, the event also showcases various state government schemes through departmental stalls. These stalls provide detailed information on development programs, policies, and initiatives undertaken by the government.

Additionally, a dedicated sales center has been set up for visitors to purchase Bihar Diary, which is attracting a large number of buyers. Along with this, many important books, letters, and magazines are available for sale. Those who have not yet bought Bihar Diary can purchase it from this stall.
