Plaster Ceiling Collapse in Muzaffarpur Government School Injures Three Children
Muzaffarpur: Three children were injured when a portion of the plaster ceiling fell in a classroom at Parsauni Gulab Patti Adarsh Government Middle School in the Sahebganj police station area of Muzaffarpur. The incident occurred while the students were in the middle of their class, causing panic among those present.
The injured children, who are students of Class V, were immediately rushed to the Community Health Center (CHC) in Sahebganj for treatment. All three students sustained minor head injuries and are currently in stable condition.
The incident happened when the plaster near a ceiling fan in the classroom unexpectedly detached and fell. The sudden collapse led to a chaotic situation as students and staff scrambled for safety. Villagers quickly gathered at the school after hearing about the incident.
Dinesh Kumar, a teacher at the school, confirmed that the classroom was in session when the plaster fell, injuring three students. “Thankfully, none of the injuries are serious. The affected students are receiving treatment, and the school has been temporarily closed for safety reasons. The District Education Department has been notified about the situation,” he said.
