PM Modi Condemns Jungle Raj and Nepotism, Asserts “The Whole Country is My Family” in Bettiah Rally
Patna: Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a scathing attack on the opposition INDIA bloc during a rally in Bettiah, accusing them of targeting Lord Ram as a strategy to divert attention from their anticipated defeat in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
Addressing a gathering as part of the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) campaign preparations, PM Modi asserted that the INDI alliance, sensing their inevitable loss in the elections, has resorted to speaking against Lord Ram and hindering the construction of the Ram Janmabhoomi temple in Ayodhya.
“In Bettiah, people witness the essence of Sita, Lav, and Kush. The people of Bihar are observing how members of the INDI alliance are opposing the construction of the Ram Temple and speaking against Lord Ram,” stated Prime Minister Modi, emphasizing the sentiments of the locals towards the revered deity.
Further lambasting the opposition as “Parivaarvadis” for allegedly confining Lord Ram Lalla to a tent, PM Modi criticized their resistance to honoring the country’s cultural heritage. “These Parivaarvadis kept Ram Lalla in a tent for decades and obstructed the construction of the Ram Temple. Today, the nation is honoring its cultural legacy, and yet they find fault with it,” he remarked.
Taking a dig at the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) government’s tenure in Bihar between 1990 and 2005, PM Modi blamed them for youth migration and economic stagnation. “One family prospered while the youth were forced to seek livelihood opportunities outside the state. Those responsible for the ‘Jungle Raj’ prioritized their own interests, jeopardizing the future of Bihar’s youth,” he criticized.
Referring to instances of alleged land grabbing in exchange for jobs, PM Modi questioned the forgiveness of such actions. “How can we pardon those who exploited the system for personal gain at the expense of Bihar’s youth?” he queried.
Earlier in the day, PM Modi inaugurated several development projects valued at approximately Rs 12,800 crore in Bettiah. The rally held significant importance amid Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s realignment with the BJP-led NDA in January, breaking ties with the RJD.
As the Lok Sabha polls approach, the political landscape in Bihar braces for a fierce contest primarily between the NDA and RJD, with the Congress as an ally of the latter.
