PM Modi Set for Two-Day Campaign Visit to Bihar on May 20, Second Visit in a Week
Patna: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will return to Bihar for a two-day visit as part of his campaign for the sixth phase of the Lok Sabha elections. PM Modi is scheduled to arrive in Patna on the evening of May 20 and will spend the night at Raj Bhavan.
Upon his arrival, PM Modi plans to visit the residence of the late former Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi in Rajendra Nagar to meet with his relatives and his wife, Prof. Dr. JC George, and offer his condolences.
Following this, PM Modi is expected to visit the Bihar BJP state headquarters. BJP State President and Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary has confirmed the Prime Minister’s itinerary.
On May 21, PM Modi will address public meetings in three parliamentary constituencies as part of the sixth phase of the elections. He will hold a joint election meeting for Siwan and Maharajganj under the Gauriya Kothi assembly constituency and will also address the public in East Champaran.
This visit marks a significant event, as it will be the first time in Bihar’s history that a Prime Minister will stay overnight in Patna twice within a week. Earlier, on May 12, PM Modi addressed election meetings in three parliamentary constituencies following a roadshow in Patna and a visit to Gurudwara Sahib on May 13.
