PM Modi to Address Bhagalpur Rally on Feb 24 as NDA Leaders Call for Unity

Bhagalpur/ Patna: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to address a rally in Bhagalpur, Bihar, on February 24, with the BJP and its allies gearing up for a show of strength. A meeting of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) leaders was held on Wednesday to discuss preparations for the event, which will take place in the Nathnagar assembly constituency.

The meeting was chaired by Bihar’s Urban Development and Housing Minister, Nitin Nabin, who urged workers to demonstrate the NDA’s unity. “Our strength lies in working together, and we must showcase this unity on February 24,” he said.

Nabin described PM Modi’s visit as a “historic opportunity” and called on NDA workers to mobilise support at the grassroots level. “Every section of society must be reached out to, every panchayat must be covered. If we engage with people twice before the rally, we can maximise our outreach,” he said, emphasising the need for coordination among alliance partners.

The minister also highlighted the government’s efforts to support farmers, pointing to the upcoming 19th instalment of the PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, which will be transferred to farmers’ accounts this month. “The NDA government prioritises respect and welfare for every section of society, and this scheme aims to strengthen farmers economically,” he said.

Nabin urged party workers to generate enthusiasm for the rally, stressing that it was not just a political event but a platform to promote the government’s welfare initiatives. “People will attend in large numbers if we channel our energy into this campaign. This rally will not only strengthen the NDA in Nathnagar but also pave the way for victory in the upcoming assembly elections,” he added.

With just weeks to go, NDA leaders are intensifying their campaign to ensure PM Modi’s rally draws a massive turnout, signalling their intent to consolidate support ahead of the elections.
