Prashant Kishor Welcomes Actress Akshara Singh to Jan Suraj Campaign for Bihar Reforms
Patna: Former poll strategist and Jan Suraj campaign convenor, Prashant Kishor, expressed enthusiasm about actress Akshara Singh joining the Jan Suraj campaign, emphasizing the campaign’s mission to welcome individuals advocating for a new system and reforms in Bihar.
In a statement, Kishor outlined the inclusive nature of Jan Suraj, stating, “All those people are welcome in Jan Suraj who want education and employment, who have been troubled by the misgovernance persisting for 30 to 40 years, and anyone eager to contribute to Bihar’s improvement. In this direction, Bihar’s daughter, Akshara Singh, has joined Jan Suraj, and her decision is welcome.”
Kishor emphasized that Jan Suraj is not merely a political party but a campaign aimed at galvanizing individuals invested in Bihar’s progress. “Akshara Singh has said that Jan Suraj is not a party; it is a campaign, and it is the responsibility of every person who wants reform in Bihar to join this campaign and put his shoulder to it. In Bihar, whether you are a journalist, a farmer, or an artist, it is everyone’s responsibility to wake up to change Bihar,” he added.
During his ongoing Padyatra in Jafra, Madhubani, Kishor spoke to journalists about the imperative need for collective responsibility in improving Bihar. He warned that without active efforts to bring about change, the future of the state’s children would mirror the poverty and misery experienced by the current generation.
“The people of Punjab and Kerala will not improve Bihar. To improve Bihar, the people of Bihar will have to make efforts. I am happy that a woman like Akshara Singh, a daughter of Bihar, has left all parties and joined the campaign of Jan Suraj, and I wish her all the best,” said Kishor.
