Patna : On the occasion of Bihar Diwas, President Droupadi Murmu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and several senior leaders from across the country extended their greetings and expressed their commitment to Bihar’s development. Messages of goodwill and promises of continued cooperation poured in from the President, the Prime Minister, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, and other prominent leaders.

President Murmu Highlights Bihar’s Historical Significance

In her message, President Droupadi Murmu extended her warm greetings to the people of Bihar, acknowledging the state’s rich heritage as a centre of knowledge and development. “The land of Bihar has been a cradle of knowledge and progress since ancient times. I believe that the people of Bihar will continue to contribute significantly to building a developed Bihar and a stronger India through their talent, determination, and hard work,” she said.

PM Modi Vows Unwavering Commitment to Bihar’s Progress

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in a post on X, described Bihar as a “sacred land of heroes and great personalities.” He extended his best wishes to the people of the state and emphasised Bihar’s vital role in India’s growth story. “Our state, which has made Indian history proud, is today passing through an important phase of its development journey, with the hardworking and talented people of Bihar playing a crucial role. We will leave no stone unturned for the all-round development of this state, which is a centre of our culture and tradition,” PM Modi said.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah echoed similar sentiments, highlighting Bihar’s historical and cultural contributions. “Bihar, the land of knowledge, tradition, and cultural heritage, has always provided leadership and new energy to the country. From the creation of modern India to the present, Bihar has left its indelible mark in every field,” Shah said. He reiterated the NDA government’s commitment to taking Bihar to new heights of progress, prosperity, and self-reliance under the leadership of the Prime Minister.

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh’s Wishes for Progress and Good Governance

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh also extended his greetings to the people of Bihar. “Congratulations to the people of Bihar on Bihar Diwas. I pray that this state, which has preserved its tradition and culture, reaches new heights of development and good governance,” he said.

Chief Minister Nitish Kumar expressed his aspirations for the state’s future while conveying his best wishes. “Bihar has a glorious history, and we are currently preparing a glorious future for Bihar with our determination. I call upon all of you to participate in realising the dream of a developed Bihar. Together, we will take Bihar’s glory to great heights,” CM Nitish said in his message.

Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha joined the chorus of congratulations, acknowledging Bihar’s rich cultural diversity and historical significance. “Heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to all the people of Bihar on Bihar Diwas. Bihar, with its glorious history and the land of great ascetics, continues to move ahead on the path of progress,” he wrote on social media.

Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary highlighted Bihar’s contributions to knowledge, spirituality, and culture. “Bihar, the land of civilization and rich traditions, has illuminated the world with its knowledge, philosophy, and spirituality. Infinite best wishes to all the people of Bihar on the 113th Foundation Day,” he said.

Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sinha underlined Bihar’s pivotal role in India’s history. “Bihar is the land of knowledge, science, and the birthplace of many religions. It is the land of Chanakya and Chandragupta and has been the foundation of India’s unity and strength,” he remarked.
