Rajgir: The Zoo Safari and Nature Safari Park in Rajgir will remain closed to visitors on 30 December 2024 and 1 January 2025, officials have announced. This decision ensures the safety of visitors and wildlife while maintaining the park’s infrastructure.

The closure on 30 December aligns with the park’s routine weekly maintenance schedule. Meanwhile, the closure on 1 January is part of special administrative measures to manage the anticipated influx of tourists during New Year celebrations.

According to the Rajgir wildlife department, the park will be closed on New Year’s Day as a precaution to manage the expected large crowds, ensuring the safety of both visitors and wildlife while maintaining a smooth and secure environment.

Tourists are advised to plan their visits accordingly, as the park will reopen on 2 January and resume normal operations.

The Zoo Safari and Nature Safari Park, major attractions in Rajgir, draw hundreds of thousands of visitors annually. The park features wildlife viewing in open habitats, a scenic glass bridge, and lush greenery, making it a top destination for nature enthusiasts.

Visitors eager to explore the park’s rich biodiversity can plan their trips starting 2 January, with regular operating hours back in place.
