Rajgir Zoo Safari and Nature Safari Closed for Two Days Due to Dussehra Festival

Nalanda: The Zoo Safari and Nature Safari in Rajgir, one of Bihar’s most popular tourist destinations, will remain closed for two days during the Dussehra festival. This decision was announced by officials from the Nalanda district forest department.

Rajkumar M, the District Forest Officer of Nalanda, confirmed that both attractions would be closed on October 11 and 12 in observance of Durga Puja. He explained that this arrangement was part of a pre-planned schedule.

“Dussehra is an important festival, and this closure will give our employees the opportunity to spend time with their families,” Rajkumar said. He also assured that the Zoo Safari and Nature Safari would reopen to visitors on October 13.

The Zoo Safari and Nature Safari are well-known tourist attractions in Rajgir, drawing thousands of visitors every year. They offer tourists the chance to see a variety of wild animals and birds in their natural habitats.

While the Zoo Safari allows visitors to explore the area and observe wildlife up close, the Nature Safari offers adventurous activities, making it a unique experience for nature and wildlife enthusiasts.

Both attractions will be fully operational again starting from October 13, welcoming tourists eager to experience the wildlife and scenic beauty of Rajgir.
