Recruitment Process for Gram Kachahari Secretaries Begins in Bihar, Counselling in Patna on April 4

Patna: The Bihar government has launched a recruitment drive to fill 1,583 vacant posts of Gram Kachahari Secretary, implementing a fully technology-based and transparent system to ensure fairness in the selection process.

The Panchayati Raj Department has announced that counselling for 65 positions in Patna district will take place on April 4, with similar sessions to be held in other districts in a phased manner. Candidates will receive updates through the department’s social media channels and via messages on their registered mobile numbers.

To facilitate a smooth recruitment process, District Panchayat Raj Officers, Block Panchayat Raj Officers, and Programmers have been summoned to Patna on April 4 for a briefing on the procedures. Officials aim to ensure effective execution of the process across all districts.
Candidates attending the counselling session must bring essential documents, including a verification letter, health certificate, character certificate, copies of their online application, mark sheets, and other educational credentials. These can be accessed via the official website ps.bihar.gov.in.

To expedite the appointment process, Gram Kachahari secretaries and sarpanches have been asked to be present during the counselling sessions. This will allow for the immediate approval of selected candidates, enabling them to take up their roles without delay. The initiative is expected to enhance efficiency and reduce bureaucratic delays in local governance appointments.
