RK Singh Targets Rahul, Praises Indira; Advocates Chirag for Cabinet
Ara: During a gathering of the NDA alliance in Ara city of Bhojpur, Union Minister RK Singh took a sharp aim at Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, questioning his electoral choices and predicting his defeat in Rae Bareli.
Singh remarked on Gandhi’s decision not to contest elections from Amethi, questioning his courage and suggesting that he would face defeat in Rae Bareli as well. Speaking confidently, Singh announced his nomination filing on May 7 at 11:30 am, alongside Chirag Paswan, and expressed solidarity with the people of Bhojpur.
Praising the late Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, Singh compared her to Narendra Modi, asserting that Modi is the only leader since Indira Gandhi with the fortitude to steer the nation towards superpower status. He advocated for Modi’s re-election and Paswan’s inclusion in the cabinet.
Turning his attention to the CPI-ML, Singh advocated for voting honesty and development, cautioning against supporting fragmented parties.
Reflecting on his tenure, Singh boasted of his developmental achievements, citing significant infrastructural improvements in Ara and surrounding regions. He claimed to have spearheaded five times more development than all previous MPs combined since independence. Singh highlighted projects such as the Ara-Sasaram tender and the enhancement of Ara and Bihiya railway stations.
Singh reassured the public of his commitment to their welfare, promising equitable development and stringent action against irregularities. He emphasized his close ties with Chirag Paswan, citing a longstanding personal alliance dating back to his days in Patna.
Addressing local concerns, Singh pledged to address electricity shortages and ensure accountability in governance. He affirmed his stance against corruption, vowing to pursue legal action against any wrongdoing.
