Patna: Actress Sanchita Basu, accompanied by co-actor Dhawal Thakur, visited Patna as part of a two-day promotional campaign for their web series Thukra Ke Mera Pyar. On Friday, the duo engaged with students at AN College, expressing heartfelt gratitude for the love and support from fans while encouraging everyone to watch the series. On Thursday, Sanchita delighted locals by savouring litti-chokha near Tara Mandal and taking selfies with fans.
Sanchita, hailing from Saharsa, Bihar, remarked, “I am the daughter of Bihar and have received immense love from the audience here, which I never imagined.” She emphasised the excitement surrounding the release of four new episodes, promising more suspense and entertainment. Reflecting on memorable moments from the shoot, she recounted learning to ride a bike, which led to several falls but became cherished memories.
Dhawal Thakur, equally touched by the warm reception in Patna, described the locals as incredibly friendly. He shared that 11 out of the series’ 19 episodes have been released, with the remaining scheduled to premiere on December 6. Thukra Ke Mera Pyar is a tale of love, betrayal, and revenge, designed to keep viewers captivated with its engaging narrative.
Sanchita, who rose to fame through TikTok and Instagram reels, has carved a niche for herself as a versatile performer. A proud native of Bihar, she completed her schooling at Mount Carmel School in Bhagalpur and made her acting debut in the Telugu film First Day First Show in 2022. Her journey from Saharsa to stardom is a testament to her determination and connection to her roots.
