Seats Fully Booked in 12 Trains From Patna to Prayagraj Ahead of Maha Kumbh Mela
Patna: Devotees traveling from Patna to Prayagraj for the Maha Kumbh Mela are facing severe difficulties due to the unavailability of confirmed tickets in regular trains. From January 25 to March 10, seats in more than a dozen trains, including Rajdhani Express, Sampoorna Kranti Express, Poorva Express, and Seemanchal Express, are fully booked. Trains departing from Patna Junction, Pataliputra Junction, and Danapur station are witnessing a massive scramble for tickets.
In response to this demand, the Indian Railways has announced the operation of about 25 special trains until February 28 for the convenience of devotees. Regular trains stopping at Prayagraj, such as Tejas Rajdhani, Pataliputra Rajdhani, Northeast Sampark Kranti Express, Azimabad Express, Danapur-Pune, Vikramshila Express, Brahmaputra Mail, North East Express, Sangammitra Express, and Vibhuti Express, have no available seats in AC bogies.
