Security Increased for Several Bihar Leaders, Assembly Speaker and Minister Receive Y+ Protection

Patna: The security for several political leaders in Bihar has been increased. Assembly Speaker Nandkishore Yadav and Minister Neeraj Kumar Singh, also known as Neeraj Bablu, have been granted Y+ category security. Additionally, JDU MLC Sanjay Singh and Araria MP Pradeep Singh have received Y category protection.

This comes after a previous decision last month, which enhanced the security of several other leaders in the state. Minister Lacey Singh, BJP MP Vivek Thakur from Nawada, and JDU MP Devesh Chandra Thakur from Sitamarhi also had their security upgraded. Lacey Singh, now under Z category protection, became the first female minister in Bihar to receive this level of security. Meanwhile, Vivek Thakur and Devesh Chandra Thakur were both assigned Y category security.

These measures are typically assigned to leaders facing potential threats, ensuring their safety with higher levels of security personnel and resources.
