Shivani Kumari Secures Second Gold at National Athletics Competition
Patna: Bihar Legislative Council Secretariat’s security guard, Shivani Kumari, clinched her second gold medal at the All India Civil Services Athletics Competition on February 21. She triumphed in the 1500-meter event, adding to her gold medal in the 800-meter race a day earlier.
Congratulating Shivani on her achievement, Bihar Legislative Council Chairman, Awadhesh Narayan Singh, praised her for bringing pride to both the council and the state. He credited Bihar’s sports promotion policy for the growing representation of state athletes at national-level competitions.
Shivani, an accomplished athlete, has secured multiple medals in national sporting events over the years.
