Shravani Mela 2025: New Mobile App to Provide Real-Time Information and Services to Devotees

Patna: In a bid to ensure a smooth and hassle-free experience for pilgrims at this year’s Shravani Mela, the district administration is set to launch a dedicated mobile application, Shravani Mela 2025, designed to offer comprehensive information and real-time updates at the click of a button.

The app, currently in its final development stage, will be officially launched on July 11, coinciding with the inauguration of the annual religious gathering. It aims to streamline access to essential services and information for the lakhs of devotees expected to attend the month-long fair in Sultanganj, Bihar.

Accessible via the Google Play Store, the app will be available in both Hindi and English. To further ease access, QR codes linking directly to the app will be displayed across key locations in the fairgrounds.

The digital platform will feature a wide range of services, including live aarti streaming, crowd management updates, virtual puja options, and a detailed route map of the mela. Additional facilities listed on the app include contact information for emergency services, ambulance locations, police stations, drinking water stations, toilets, rest areas, dharamshalas, parking zones, and medical camps.

For those managing fair operations, the app will provide access to duty rosters and a list of medical personnel deployed at health centres. Visitors will also find guidance on how to reach Sultanganj, along with travel routes and available transport options.

Officials say the initiative marks a significant step towards integrating technology with traditional pilgrimage experiences, aiming to improve safety, accessibility, and overall convenience for pilgrims during the Shravani Mela.
