Sitamarhi And Ayodhya To Be Connected By Amrit Bharat Express
SITAMARHI – Ahead of the Ram Temple inauguration, the Amrit Bharat Express will connect Sita’s birthplace in Janakpur to Ayodhya. Starting from Darbhanga, the train will pass through Sitamarhi, Raxaul, Valmikinagar, and reach New Delhi, with Ayodhya as one of its stops. The plan is to commence train operations in December, with specific instructions given to the DRMs of Sonepur and Samastipur for execution.
Railways officials discussed preparations in a virtual meeting on Saturday night. The train will pass through East Central, Northeastern, and Northern Railway zones, monitored by respective authorities. The East Central Railways GM will inspect Muzaffarpur, Motihari, Valmikinagar, Raxaul, and Sitamarhi. This initiative precedes the Prime Minister’s inauguration of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya on January 22.
The saffron-colored Amrit Bharat Express, with a speed of 130 km/h, is a center of attraction for travelers. The train offers sleeper and general coaches, utilizing push-pull technology to swiftly pick up speed.
