Special Train to Run Between Danapur and Visakhapatnam for Chhath Festival Crowds Starting November 3

Fog Disrupts Operation of 24 East Central Railway Trains Until February

Patna: In anticipation of increased passenger traffic for the Chhath festival, the Railways has announced a special train service, numbered 08520/08519, between Puri, Jaynagar, Visakhapatnam, and Danapur, starting November 3. The train will operate as a single-journey service for the Visakhapatnam-Danapur and Danapur-Visakhapatnam routes. It will include general second-class, sleeper, and air-conditioned coaches for passenger convenience.

According to a press release from the Asansol Public Relations Office, the train will make stops at Asansol, Chittaranjan, Madhupur, and Jasidih stations in both directions.

The Puri-Jayanagar Special Express (Train No. 08419/20) is scheduled to depart Puri on November 3 at 1:30 p.m., reaching Jaynagar by the following day. Similarly, Train No. 08520 (Visakhapatnam-Danapur Special) will leave Visakhapatnam at 9:10 a.m. on November 4, arriving in Danapur the next day at 11:00 a.m.
