Special Train to Run Between Gaya and Ranchi for Technician Exam Candidates
Patna: To accommodate the large number of candidates appearing for the Railway Recruitment Board’s technician post examination, the Railways has decided to operate special examination trains between Gaya and Ranchi. These trains will pass through major stations like Koderma, Nesubo Gomo, Dhanbad, Bokaro Steel City, and Muri to ensure accessibility for candidates traveling from remote areas.
The Ranchi-Gaya Exam Special Train (08602) will depart from Ranchi on December 24 at 11:45 pm and arrive at Gaya at 8:30 am the following day. On December 25, the return train (08601) will leave Gaya at 10 am and reach Ranchi by 6:50 pm. Similarly, another set of special trains will operate on December 29 and 30. The Ranchi-Gaya Exam Special Train (08604) will depart Ranchi on December 29 at 11:45 pm, reaching Gaya on December 30 at 8:30 am. The return train (08603) will leave Gaya on December 30 at 2:45 pm and arrive at Ranchi at 11 pm.
These trains will stop at key stations, including Muri, Bokaro Steel City, Rajabera, Chandrapura, Katrasgarh, Dhanbad, Nesubo Gomo, Parasnath, Hazaribagh Road, and Koderma, in both directions. This arrangement aims to ensure candidates can reach their examination centers conveniently and on time.
This initiative by the Railways has been widely appreciated, as it will provide significant relief to candidates, especially those traveling from distant areas, by reducing their logistical challenges during the examination period.
