Special Vigilance Unit Raids Nalanda DTO’s Residence Over Disproportionate Assets

Biharsharif/Patna: The Special Vigilance Unit (SVU) raided the residence of Nalanda district transport officer (DTO) Anil Kumar Das on Friday morning in connection with a disproportionate assets case.
Das, who lives in a rented house in Biharsharif, was under scrutiny for alleged financial irregularities. A six-member SVU team arrived at his residence between 6 am and 7 am in two vehicles to conduct the raid.
The operation is being led by DSP Chandra Bhushan Singh, with officials keeping the premises sealed during the search. Media personnel have not been permitted to enter the flat.
According to reports, a case of disproportionate assets worth Rs 94 lakh was previously registered against Das. The investigation is ongoing.
