Stones Pelted at Vande Bharat Train from Patna to Delhi, AC Coach Glass Shattered

Patna : Vande Bharat train traveling from Patna to Delhi was attacked with stones on Thursday evening, shattering the glass of an AC coach and causing panic among passengers. The incident occurred while the train was passing through a slow-speed section between Jaswantnagar and Balrai stations in Uttar Pradesh’s Etawah district.

According to a report by Hindustan, a large stone struck the window of the C1 coach, breaking the glass. The train, however, did not stop and continued towards its destination. It was halted at Aligarh station, where the Railway Protection Force (RPF) conducted a preliminary investigation.

RPF Inspector Gajendra Pal Singh told reporters that Sub-Inspector Satyadev Singh was dispatched to the site of the attack. Local residents and potential suspects are being questioned, and authorities are working to identify those responsible for the incident.

The stone-pelting caused alarm among passengers, but no injuries were reported.  This is the latest in a series of attacks on Vande Bharat trains, raising concerns about the safety of passengers and the need for stricter security measures along vulnerable stretches of the route.
