Patna: A student at Patna Veterinary College was shot on Thursday evening following an altercation over a cricket game, leading to chaos and panic across the campus. The injured student, identified as Mayank, sustained a bullet wound to his hand and was admitted to Indira Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences, where his condition is reported as stable.
The incident occurred between 5 pm and 6 pm when Mayank, who resides in the boys’ hostel, had a dispute with a group of outsiders over playing cricket within the college premises.
