Patna: The Patna Metro Rail Project took active part in the Swachhata Pakhwada on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the Swachh Bharat Mission. Various activities such as ‘Shram-Daan’, health camps, and tree plantation drives were conducted across all stations, construction sites, casting yards, and depots of the project to promote the theme of a ‘Garbage Free India.’
The Swachhata Pakhwada, held from 17 September to 2 October 2024, was marked by the ‘Swachhata Hi Seva Abhiyan,’ aimed at encouraging voluntary ‘Shram-Daan’ and fostering a sense of collective responsibility towards cleanliness. Workers, metro officials, and contractors enthusiastically supported this year’s theme, “Swabhaav Swachhata, Sanskar Swachhata,” at all work sites.
Through these efforts, the Patna Metro Rail Project demonstrated its commitment to making cleanliness an integral part of both personal and professional practices, contributing to a cleaner environment in and around the city.
