Thousands of Yaduvanshis Set to Join BJP on Govardhan Puja Day in Patna
Patna: Around 21,000 members of the Yaduvanshi community are set to join the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on the auspicious occasion of Govardhan Puja at the Bapu Sabhagar in Patna on Tuesday. The event will witness the presence of several senior BJP leaders.
The announcement was made by senior BJP leader and MLC, Naval Kishore Yadav, during a press conference held at the party’s state office on Monday. Yadav highlighted that the Yaduvanshis, demonstrating their confidence in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision for a developed India, have chosen to take BJP membership.
The current list accounts for 21 to 22,000 Yaduvanshis, with the possibility of further additions in the coming days.
Yadav expressed the sentiment among Yaduvanshis that they see their future as secure under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He noted that the community views the BJP as the vehicle for realizing the Prime Minister’s vision and emphasized the organized and inspiring nature of the party, which resonates with the Yaduvanshi community.
Addressing the ongoing attacks on Sanatan Samaj by opposition parties, Yadav claimed that more than 70% of Yadav caste members refrain from consuming meat, fish, and carry Tulsi rosaries, reflecting the community’s religious and eternal values.
Yadav asserted that the Yaduvanshis have aligned with the BJP to strengthen and empower Hindus through Sanatan, drawing parallels between the party’s unity and Lord Krishna’s Virat form. He likened the BJP’s organized structure to Lord Krishna’s colossal form, symbolizing unity and strength.
Discussing the inclusive nature of the BJP, Yadav cited the party’s efforts in respecting and representing various social groups, including backward classes, extremely backward classes, Dalits, and Mahadalits. He compared the party’s support among the Yadavas to the dichotomy of Kansa and Lord Krishna, stating that today’s Krishna is with Prime Minister Modi.
Responding to questions from reporters, Yadav clarified that the BJP does not engage in caste-based branding and highlighted the consistent support the party has received from Yaduvanshis in past elections. He concluded by stating that, like Lord Krishna lifting the Govardhan mountain, today’s Yaduvanshis are ready to lift the BJP to new heights.
The press conference also saw the presence of media in-charge Danish Iqbal, co-media in-charge Amit Prakash Bablu, and media panelist Rajesh Singh.
