Patna: A heartfelt tribute meeting was organized at Mahavir Arogya Sansthan to mourn the sudden demise of Acharya Kishore Kunal, Secretary of Mahavir Mandir Trust. The event, chaired by Justice Uday Sinha, Executive Chairman of Mahavir Arogya Sansthan Governing Body, saw attendance from dignitaries including Dr. Shanti Rai, former Home Secretary Jiyalal Arya, Dr. S.S. Jha, Dr. U.C. Mathur, and Dr. R.K.P. Sinha.

Justice Uday Sinha described Acharya Kishore Kunal as a great personality whose demise felt like a mountain had collapsed. He praised Kunal’s dedication to ensuring that no patient was ever denied treatment at Mahavir Hospitals due to a lack of funds. Dr. Shanti Rai called Kunal a determined and fearless individual who brought significant change with his willpower and vision. She highlighted his ability to attract capable people to the Mahavir Mandir institutions.

Jiyalal Arya recalled the time when Kunal served as SSP of Patna, emphasizing his strict discipline and effective arrangements. Arya shared that the Mahavir Arogya Sansthan was initially started in Kunal’s own house, showcasing his deep commitment to public service.

Dr. Umesh Chandra Mathur referred to Kunal as a source of inspiration, describing his death as the loss of a priceless gem. Dr. D.K. Srivastava lauded him as a hardworking man devoted to helping the poor, suggesting that continuing his service to the underprivileged would be the best way to honor his legacy.

Other attendees, including Professor Jaishankar Jha and Umesh Chandra Dwivedi, shared their reflections on Kunal’s contributions, highlighting his embodiment of the teachings of the Gita. The meeting concluded with emotional tributes from staff and colleagues, emphasizing the indelible mark left by Kunal’s life and work.
