Union Minister Inaugurates Snehi Hostel in Chhapra, Highlights Role of Education in Nation-Building

Chhapra: Education is the cornerstone of societal progress, said Union Minister of State for Housing and Urban Development, Tokhan Sahu, as he inaugurated the Snehi Hostel, an initiative by the Sahu Samaj, in Chhapra on Sunday. Speaking at the event, Sahu described education as the key to a brighter future, emphasizing that a better life is unimaginable without it.

The minister hailed the Snehi Hostel as a milestone for the community, aimed at supporting those in need. He urged individuals to remain sensitive to their social responsibilities, stating that nation-building requires collective sacrifice and contribution. “A strong nation can only be created when everyone contributes according to their ability, paving the way for a developed society and country,” Sahu said, congratulating the community on the hostel’s establishment.

A Vision for a Developed India

Sahu also highlighted the national vision under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, referencing the government’s guiding principle of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas. “Today, people from all sections of society are actively contributing to nation-building. The Prime Minister has set a goal of making India a developed country by 2047, and achieving this vision requires the participation of everyone,” he added.

He lauded Snehi Hostel as a commendable initiative, extending gratitude to the community leaders and social workers involved in its establishment. “This hostel is a testament to the power of collective effort in creating opportunities for those in need,” he said.

Ceremony Highlights

The event witnessed a grand welcome for the Union Minister upon his arrival in Chhapra. Several prominent figures attended the inauguration, including local MP and former Union Minister Rajiv Pratap Rudy, Rajya Sabha MP Dharmshila Gupta, former Sitamarhi MP Sunil Kumar Pintu, Chhapra MLA Dr. C.N. Gupta, and IRS officer Shivanandan Prasad.
