Vicky Kaushal Relishes Litti-Chokha in Patna While Promoting ‘Chhava’

Patna: Bollywood actor Vicky Kaushal visited Patna on Saturday to promote his upcoming film Chhava, set for release on February 14. During his visit, he took a break to enjoy Bihar’s signature dish, litti-chokha, at a street-side stall near Maurya Lok.

Sharing his experience on social media, Kaushal posted pictures and a video of himself eating litti-chokha. “How could I miss litti-chokha after coming to Patna? You blew it away,” he wrote in his caption.

Speaking about his visit, the actor said, “This is my second time in Bihar, and the first thing that comes to mind when I’m here is litti-chokha. I love its taste. Before arriving, I had already told my team that we must have it after the film’s promotions.”

His post has sparked engagement on social media, with fans sharing their excitement. One user commented, “You should have taken Katrina Bhabhi along too,” while another wrote, “Wow, enjoying litti-chokha in perfect Bihari style. Welcome to Patna!”

Kaushal’s Role in Chhava

In Chhava, Kaushal portrays Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, the son of Chhatrapati Shivaji, while Rashmika Mandanna plays his wife, Maharani Yesubai. The film, based on writer Shivaji Sawant’s novel Chhava, is directed by Laxman Utekar and produced by Maddock Films and Dinesh Vijan. It also features Akshaye Khanna, Divya Dutta, Ashutosh Rana, and Diana Penty in key roles.

The historical drama is set to hit cinemas on Valentine’s Day.
