Wedding Season Shines: Declining Gold and Silver Rates Bring Joy to Buyers in Bihar

Gold Hits Record High on Dhanteras in Patna: 10 Grams at ₹78,846, Silver Reaches ₹97,238 per kg

PATNA – In the midst of the wedding season, buyers are receiving some positive news as the prices of gold and silver continue to decrease. Recently, silver witnessed a reduction of Rs 100 per kilo, while gold experienced a decrease of Rs 200 per ten grams. Experts anticipate that prices may continue to decline further in the near future.

In Patna’s jewelry market, metal prices have consistently fallen during this festive season. Both silver and gold prices have seen a decline of Rs 100 per kilo and Rs 200 per ten grams, respectively.

Currently, silver is priced at Rs 74,500 per kilo, while 24-carat gold stands at Rs 62,500, and 22-carat at Rs 62,350 for every ten grams. In just three days, gold has seen a reduction of Rs 1000 per ten grams, and silver has become Rs 1400 cheaper per kilo.

Experts suggest that metal prices may continue their downward trend during the wedding season. The sluggish business is attributed to changes in the global market and investor sentiments.

As people are not making significant purchases during weddings, both buyers and sellers are engaging in limited transactions related to jewelry, altering the dynamics of the market.

The decrease in metal prices during weddings may indicate a shift towards the preference for lighter jewelry among consumers.
