Bihar tourism

Patna – The Tourism Department of the Government of Bihar is organizing a content writing competition to foster interest and promote the diverse tourist destinations in the state. Participants are invited to craft long and short articles on various tourism-related topics in Hindi and English.

The complete subject list is available on the department’s website. The competition is set to commence on November 25, 2023, at 11:00 AM and will conclude on December 14, 2023, at 23:59 PM.

Short articles can range from 100 to 200 words, while long articles can extend from 400 to 500 words. Participants have the option to enter either the short article writing, long article writing, or both competitions. It’s essential for participants to avoid submitting multiple entries on the same subject in any category to prevent disqualification. Participants must be 15 years or older, and a valid age identity proof is mandatory. Providing name, email, telephone number, and postal address is also a requirement for entry.

For those submitting articles in both Hindi and English, separate winners will be chosen for each language. The Tourism Department, Government of Bihar, will award prize money and citations to all winners. Submissions should be made on www.tourism.bihar.gov.in, ensuring correct and up-to-date details. Incomplete profile information will lead to the rejection of entries. Entries must be submitted in PDF format through the Google Form available on the Bihar Tourism website. Originality is crucial, and articles should not violate any provisions of the Indian Copyright Act, 1957. Any infringement will result in disqualification.

Selected content will be published on the Department of Tourism’s website, and winners will be highlighted on social media platforms, including consolation prize winners.
