YCC Enters Final of Chandramani Prasad Singh Memorial Cricket Tournament in Patna
Patna: YCC has secured its spot in the final of the Chandramani Prasad Singh Memorial Cricket Tournament after defeating SPS CCC by 125 runs in the second semi-final. The match, played at Bihar Cricket Academy Ground, saw YCC put up a strong total of 217 runs for nine wickets in 25 overs after winning the toss and opting to bat. Pawan Yadav was the top scorer for YCC with 72 runs, followed by Sushant who contributed 59 runs.
In response, SPS CCC was all out for 92 runs in 18.3 overs, with YCC’s Aditya Pandey putting in a match-winning performance with the ball. Pandey claimed 5 wickets for 26 runs, earning him the Player of the Match award. Other key bowlers for YCC included Manoj Sinha, who took 1 wicket for 7 runs, and Sushant, who picked up 1 wicket for just 1 run.
YCC’s batting also featured Nitin with 34 runs, Tejaswi Chauhan who scored 17, and Extras contributing 15 runs. For SPS CCC, Sahil top-scored with 29 runs, followed by Mithun (18), Animesh (11), and Lucky Raj (12). The team’s efforts were insufficient as they struggled to keep up with YCC’s dominant all-round performance.
With this win, YCC will now face Genex Cricket Academy in the final of the tournament, which promises to be an exciting clash.
