Patna: The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has issued legal notices to several prominent figures, including Khan Sir, Guru Rehman, and Jan Suraaj leader Prashant Kishor, demanding evidence to substantiate their allegations against the commission. The notices also include video clips and statements as proof of the accusations.
In the notice to Khan Sir, BPSC highlighted his claims alleging manipulation in the selection process, stating, “You have accused BPSC of reserving top seats for middle-class candidates and using normalization to favor certain individuals. You claimed the chairman is involved in malpractice, mentally torturing students, and awarding extra marks to those who pay money.”
BPSC also referenced an interview Khan Sir gave to ANI, where he reportedly used derogatory language against the commission. Statements like “BPSC is completely in collusion,” and allegations of selling SDM and DSP seats were noted in the notice. The commission stated these remarks tarnish its reputation and provoke students, potentially creating law and order issues.
Similarly, Prashant Kishor was issued a notice regarding his claims of a Rs. 1,000 crore scam in the recruitment process and the alleged sale of government jobs for Rs. 1 to 1.5 crore. BPSC demanded evidence to support these allegations and warned of legal action under the IT Act and other laws if proof is not provided.
The commission emphasized that baseless accusations and inflammatory language not only harm its image but also incite unrest among students and the public. BPSC has urged all parties to present verifiable evidence for their claims.
