Governor Meets BPSC Students in Patna, Assures Action Within Constitutional Limits
Patna: Prashant Kishor, the architect of Jan Suraaj, has been on a hunger strike since January 2 in support of the demands of BPSC candidates. On January 13, a delegation of 12 BPSC students, accompanied by Jan Suraaj President Manoj Bharti, met Bihar Governor Arif Mohammad Khan at Raj Bhavan at 2 pm to present their demands. Subhash, a member of the delegation, represented the students and put forth their issues during the meeting.
After the meeting, Subhash informed the media that the Governor patiently listened to their concerns for 40-45 minutes and assured them that the matter would be taken to the concerned authorities. He expressed hope that the demands would be addressed within constitutional limits to ensure justice for the students.
The Governor also expressed concern about Prashant Kishor’s health, urging the students to request him to end his 12-day hunger strike. He emphasized that health is paramount and advised separating the hunger strike from the students’ demands. The Governor assured the delegation that a letter regarding their demands would be sent to the relevant officials.
