Bihar CM Nitish Kumar’s Son Nishant Appeals for Public Support, Praises Father’s Work
Patna: Nishant Kumar, son of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, made a rare public appearance today, urging the people of Bihar to support his father in the upcoming elections. Speaking to reporters at Bakhtiyarpur block in Patna district, Nishant praised his father’s contributions and appealed for votes to bring him back to power.
Addressing the media, Nishant said, “I extend my New Year wishes to everyone. I would just ask the public to vote for my father and his party. He has done good work, and it is important to continue his efforts for the state’s progress.”
Reflecting on his family’s legacy, Nishant highlighted the contributions of his grandfather, Kaviraj Ram Lakhan Singh, who was a freedom fighter and had been imprisoned during India’s struggle for independence. “My father gave state honor to freedom fighters, and this includes my grandfather. This is a tribute to his sacrifices for the country.”
The remarks were made during a state function in Bakhtiyarpur, where Chief Minister Nitish Kumar paid homage to prominent freedom fighters by garlanding their statues. Nishant joined the event, further emphasizing his family’s dedication to the state and its history.
