ACAD 2025: Four Exciting Versions of Crossword Contest Begin on January 19 in Patna

Patna: The much-awaited A Clue A Day Contest (ACAD) is back for 2025, offering an exciting opportunity for crossword enthusiasts of all ages to participate in four distinct versions. ACAD Global, a new platform open to participants worldwide, will launch on January 19, 2025, inviting individuals from all nationalities and regions to join the global puzzle-solving challenge. The contest will run from January 19 to December 15, 2025, providing daily cryptic clues and an engaging intellectual journey for participants.

ACAD Global will release daily cryptic clues at 6:00 PM IST, with participants having until 5:30 PM IST the following day to submit their answers. The contest aims to foster a global community of crossword lovers while challenging cognitive and linguistic abilities throughout the year. In addition to the global platform, the traditional versions of the contest—ACAD, ACAD Plus, and ACAD Senior—will launch on January 21 at DPS Patna, catering to specific groups of participants.

ACAD is designed for school students, ACAD Plus for both school and college students, and ACAD Senior is targeted at individuals aged 60 and above, honoring the expertise of experienced solvers. Registrations for all versions are now open on www.crypticsingh.com for free. The contest encourages participants to solve daily cryptic clues in just 10 minutes, offering a quick and effective way to enhance crossword-solving skills while providing mental exercise for a healthy mind.

⚠️ But police say the video is old (4 to 5 months old) — and some claims circulating online do not match their preliminary findings.
📍 Kishanganj Police received information late on September 24 and launched an investigation.
🚔 Based on the woman’s statement, an FIR was registered — and one accused has been arrested by the SIT.
🔎 Raids are underway to trace the other accused, many of whom are reportedly working as migrant labourers in other states.
