Patna: The Chandragupt Institute of Management Patna (CIMP) successfully hosted HRNext – The HR Conclave 2025, a flagship event that brought together prominent HR professionals and industry experts to explore innovations in workforce management and reimagine HR excellence.
The event commenced with a traditional lamp-lighting ceremony, followed by a welcome address from CIMP Director, Prof. (Dr.) Rana Singh, who highlighted the institute’s achievements, including its NIRF 2024 ranking as one of the top 125 management institutions nationally and 6th in the East Zone.

The conclave’s Chief Guest, Dr. Vinay Ranjan, Director of Personnel and Industrial Relations at Coal India Limited, delivered an inspiring keynote speech. Drawing from his 30-year career spanning Tata Group and Reliance, he shared valuable lessons on leadership, adaptability, and lifelong learning. Through personal anecdotes, Dr. Ranjan urged students to embrace challenges, step out of their comfort zones, and commit to perseverance and honesty.
The event also featured distinguished guests, including Raj Kumar Dubey, Director of HR at BPCL; Sajid Iqbal, VP of HR at Wabtec Corporation; and Dhananjay Singh, Director General of the National HRD Network. Their discussions provided valuable perspectives on workforce transformation and organizational excellence.

The HR Unplugged panel discussion delved into contemporary challenges in human resource management, while HR InnovateX, a hackathon, showcased innovative solutions to real-world HR issues. The competition attracted over 40 teams nationwide, with six finalists presenting their ideas.
The HR Best Practices segment celebrated exemplary initiatives from organizations like Mediversal Healthcare, Reliance Jio, and Jeevika. Meanwhile, the HR Quiz, hosted in collaboration with The Economic Times, featured an engaging competition, with quizmaster Amritesh Singh leading the session.
