Patna: Emphasizing the importance of cleanliness during the Chhath Puja, the Patna Municipal Corporation (PMC) took a significant step by inaugurating the Ganga Ghat Express on Saturday. The ceremony was led by Mayor Sita Sahu, Deputy Mayor Reshmi Kumari, member of Empowered Standing Committee Inderdeep Chandravanshi, Ashish Sinha, and Cleanliness Brand Ambassador Neetu Kumari Navgeet.
The inauguration event included the conveyance of Chhath festival greetings, accompanied by musical performances featuring songs by Neetu Kumari Navgeet. Additionally, vehicles equipped for ghats and pathways cleaning were flagged off by the Executive Officer of PMC at Gandhi Ghat. The initiative utilizes e-cart vehicles equipped with jetting machines to ensure thorough cleaning.
The Ganga Ghat Express aims to enhance the overall cleanliness and ambiance of the ghats, contributing to a more pleasant and hygienic environment for the devotees participating in the festival.
