Patna: A gang of miscreants looted diamonds, gold jewellery, and cash worth Rs. 50 lakh from Giva Jewellery Shop on Saguna Khagaul Road in Danapur. The incident took place around noon when two men entered the shop pretending to be customers. They initially asked to see rings and then called more accomplices, who arrived shortly after.

According to the shop staff, the miscreants first pretended to be selecting jewellery and then one of them stepped out, claiming to call his “Bhabhi.” He returned with 4-5 others, who then brandished firearms and looted the shop. They had brought a bag with them and took away gold and diamond jewellery. When they attempted to take silver items, the staff informed them that the items were made of silver, leading them to leave those behind.
