Patna: The “Basant Panchami Mahotsav 2025” was celebrated with great enthusiasm across all districts of Bihar under the directives of the Department of Art, Culture, and Youth. The festival was organized with the support of the local district administration, and the government allocated Rs. 2 lakh to each district to ensure its success.
Deputy Chief Minister and Minister of Art, Culture, and Youth, Vijay Kumar Sinha, had directed that Basant Panchami Mahotsav 2025 should be organized in every district of the state, ensuring the active participation of local artists and cultural performers.
The festival showcased an impressive display of art, culture, literature, and music across Bihar. Each district hosted exhibitions of art, craft, paintings, and handicrafts, where local artists demonstrated their skills. Additionally, renowned poets and young musicians from different districts performed cultural programs, which were highly appreciated by the audience.
Public representatives of the Bihar government, district administration officials, eminent personalities, and a large number of citizens participated in the celebrations with great enthusiasm. The primary objective of this festival was to inspire the youth to engage with art and culture while also preserving traditional art forms.
