Prashant Kishor Mocks Rahul Gandhi’s Bihar Visits, Says Congress ‘Begging’ From Lalu, BJP From Nitish

Patna: A workshop for district and subdivision-level officials of the Jan Suraj Party was held on Tuesday at Bihar Satyagraha Ashram, focusing on strategies to expand the party’s grassroots presence and the criteria for selecting candidates for the upcoming assembly elections.

Prashant Kishor, the party’s chief strategist, addressed journalists following the workshop, taking a swipe at opposition leaders. Commenting on Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s rvisits to Bihar, he remarked, “Congress is begging from Lalu ji, and BJP is begging from Nitish Kumar.”

Kishor outlined the party’s roadmap for the coming months, stating that Tuesday’s gathering was the first in a series of meetings with key officials. Representatives from all 38 districts and 103 subdivisions—termed “organizational districts” by the party—participated in the discussion.

Further meetings are scheduled at the ashram in February and March, he said, with at least one public rally planned in each subdivision across Bihar in March and April.
