Patna: Former IPS officer Shivdeep Lande, whose resignation was accepted on January 13, has sparked speculation about his political entry through a series of social media posts.
On Tuesday, Lande shared an image of himself standing by a river, saluting the sun, with a map of Bihar in the background. The post has fueled discussions about his possible move into Bihar politics, with reports suggesting he may join Jan Suraj.
Lande had submitted his resignation on September 19, 2024 while serving as IG of Purnia Range. He had taken charge of the post on September 6, just 13 days before resigning. Though his resignation remained pending for months, leading to speculation that he might reconsider, it was officially accepted in January this year.
